Introduction
The Rainman motor valve is engineered as a premium, long-lasting component. On rare occasions, however, a brand new valve can be too tight for the motor to break it loose the very first time it operates. This is not a sign of a faulty valve, and it is not a routine maintenance issue — it is a one-off corrective procedure. Once the valve has been manually released for the first time, this will not reoccur.

TO BE COMPLETED
Step by Step
- Using pliers, grasp the valve stem and manually turn it forward and backward a few times to massage it loose.
- Once the stem turns freely, return it to its original position as shown in the picture.
- Reassemble the motor box onto the valve body and reinsert the 4 Allen screws.
Your motor valve is now ready to be reinstalled and will operate normally going forward.
